ANANTAPUR: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu called upon the people of Andhra Pradesh to vote for NDA and defeat YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to save the State.

Addressing a ‘Praja Galam’ roadshow in Raptadu on Thursday, Chandrababu Naidu reminded the people that only 46 days were left to protect the State from the mismanagement of YS Jagan.

“Three parties have joined hands to rebuild the State devastated by the YSRCP rule. Come forward and defeat YS Jagan don’t fear YSRCP attacks,” he said. He said that YS Jagan looted the State by hiking the prices of all essential commodities and power. Chandrababu Naidu said that the State Government under YS Jagan sold cheap and harmful liquor harming the health of thousands of people.

“You don’t get Raptadu sand here for construction but it is available in Bengaluru. The artificial scarcity of sand affected the livelihood of the construction workers. YS Jagan failed to create employment for the youth, “Naidu said.

The TDP chief said that his Government spent Rs 68,000 crore on irrigation and Rs 12,000 on Rayalaseema projects. “YS Jagan could not even spend Rs 5,000 crore in five years. Jagan brought nothing but violence to Rayalaseema,” Naidu fumed at YS Jagan.

Assuring the people of the drought-prone Rayalaseema region that he would bring Godavari water to the region through Polavaram. Urging the people not to believe the lies of YS Jagan he sought answers from the Chief Minister on seven issues. “What happened to the special status, total prohibition, scrapping of CPS, annual job calendar, mega DSC, reduction of power tariff, and completion of the Polavaram project?” Naidu said.
