NIZAMABAD: In an unusual incident, four women, all wives of doctors, were arrested for gambling inside Niloufer Hospital in Saraswati Nagar, Nizamabad. While their husbands were attending to patients, the women gathered on the fourth floor of the hospital and turned a card game into a full-fledged gambling session.

The police, acting on a tip-off, raided the premises and seized Rs 15,000 in cash and mobile phones. Adding to the drama is the speculation that the tip might have come from one of the doctors themselves. It is rumoured that the doctors were unhappy with their wives frequenting the hospital during work hours. Some suspect that the doctors may have grown frustrated not only with their wives showing up at their workplace but also with them gambling away their hard-earned money.

It remains unclear if this was the first time the women engaged in such activity or if this had been going on for a while. The incident has raised eyebrows, with the police now investigating if this gambling session was part of a larger pattern.
