Sevanth class girl sexually assaulted in Siddipet, accused's house set ablaze by family

SIDDIPET: A seventh-class girl was allegedly raped by a youth in a village in Siddipet district. Following the incident, the girl's family, in a state of rage, set the accused’s house on fire.

The incident took place in a village in Komuravelli mandal, Siddipet district. In addition to burning the house, the relatives also destroyed several vehicles in the area. The act of retaliation caused significant tension in the village.

Upon receiving information, police officials promptly arrived at the scene to restore order. They managed to bring the situation under control and prevent further escalation. A case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, along with other relevant sections, has been registered against the accused.
