During an address to farmers at Rythu Vedika in Raghavpur village, Siddipet Rural mandal, the Minister compared Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC)) President A Revanth Reddy to former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, whose administration had ordered the police to fire on protesting farmers at Basheerbagh over increased power tariffs years ago. Harish urged the farmers of Telangana to reject the Congress party for making such statements.

He highlighted the various welfare schemes introduced by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao over the past nine years, while accusing Chandrababu Naidu of neglecting the farming sector during his rule, leading to his downfall. He asserted that Revanth Reddy was following Naidu's footsteps and that the people would teach the Congress a lesson.

"The Telangana Government implemented schemes such as Rythu Bandhu, 24X7 free power supply, Rythu Bima, crop compensation, and other initiatives to support farmers. We also ensured irrigation water availability through projects like the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS). As a result, Pedda Cheruvu in Raghavapur remained filled with water even during the summer due to the Government's efforts to replenish the tanks with KLIS water," Harish said.
