KCR admits defeat by contesting in two constituencies: Revanth Reddy
Revanth Reddy said that he had been saying since beginning that Chief Minister KCR had fled to Kamareddy
HYDERABAD: Fear and defeat were evident in the Chief Minister's voice, and contesting in two constituencies meant that KCR himself admitted his defeat, said TPCC president Revanth Reddy on Monday.
He said that the fear of defeat was evident by not giving seats to all the sitting candidates and KCR contesting in two seats. It was certain that KCR would lose in Gajwel and Kamareddy. He said that KCR changed the positions of sitting MLAs without accepting his challenge.
Revanth Reddy said that he had been saying since beginning that Chief Minister KCR had fled to Kamareddy. Revanth Reddy said that when one looked at the BRS list, it was sure that Congress would win the next election. Congress would come to power with 2-3 majority.
People would defeat KCR in those two constituencies. If KCR wanted to run away, there was Siddipet, there was Sircilla. But going to Kamareddy, where there was a minority leader, standing against him was an insult to the minorities. The minorities were closely watching this.
Revanth Reddy said that Telangana society should understand KCR's priorities. Revanth criticized KCR for showing very clever tricks in the name of loan waiver. By giving a loan waiver of up to Rs 99,999 loan, KCR had saved Rs 11,000 crores, Revanth alleged.
Everyone thought that it was one rupee, but because of it, thousands of farmers were not getting loan waivers and the government was saving Rs. 11,000 crore, he said. He said that a complete loan waiver was done during the Congress regime. It was the Congress Party that increased the pension amount from Rs 75 to Rs 200.
A school was built in your village Chintamadaka. The Congress gave electricity to your house. The Congress built an outer ring road and metrorail. Congress built metrorail in densely populated places like Jubilee bus station, Kachiguda and Gauliguda. KCR is building a Metrorail around the Outer Ring Road to increase the value of land. Congress party builds a metrorail for the benefit of the poor, but you were building a metrorail for real estate business, said Revanth Reddy.
