HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has come to an agreement with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to arrest MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha and imprison her in Tihar jail for two months in order to gain sympathy, said TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy.

Revanth Reddy said during the CWC meeting on Sunday that the Women's Reservation Bill was the brainchild of Sonia Gandhi. Rajiv Gandhi implemented reservations for women and OBCs in local body elections. Sonia Gandhi, as UPA Chairperson, introduced the Women's Reservation Bill in Parliament.

He said that during Kavitha's tenure as an MP, she did not address the Women's Reservation Bill. The BRS MPs supported every bill submitted by the BJP in the Parliament. The Congress party would support BRS in demanding the implementation of the Women Reservation bill if they observe a five-day Deeksha during parliament session in Delhi.

Revanth Reddy questioned why central agencies were not investigating corruption within the KCR family, despite investigating Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

"Although it is apparent that BJP State President Kishan Reddy supports KCR, the government has imposed several restrictions on the Congress party's public meetings, " said Revanth Reddy.
