KCR renominates Manne Srinivas Reddy as BRS candidate from Mahabubnagar
BRS chief KCR has renominated Manne Srinivas Reddy as a candidate for the Mahabubnagar seat. The BRS party has declared candidates for five out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana so far.
HYDERABAD: The BRS party has accelerated its candidate selection process for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Following the announcement of four candidates on Monday, BRS President and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao finalised another candidate on Tuesday.
In a meeting with leaders from Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool parliamentary constituencies at Telangana Bhavan, KCR declared Manne Srinivas Reddy as the candidate for the Mahabubnagar seat. It’s worth noting that Manne Srinivas Reddy previously secured victory in the 2019 elections from the Mahabubnagar constituency.
KCR said that the candidate for the Nagarkurnool Lok Sabha seat would be decided soon after holding discussions with the top leaders.
The BRS party has already announced the candidatures of Vinod Kumar for Karimnagar, Koppula Eshwar for Peddapalli, Nama Nageshwar Rao for Khammam, and Maloth Kavita for Mahabubabad constituencies.
