Maharashtra ex-servicemen meet KCR, join BRS

HYDERABAD: Inspired by Bharat Rastra Samithi (BRS) President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao‘s (KCR) call for ‘Ab ki Baar Kisan Sarkar’, several ex-servicemen from Maharashtra joined the party on Sunday.

The Chief Minister welcomed the ex-servicemen to the party by offering Pink scarfs to them. Speaking on the occasion, Chandrashekar Rao asserted that a qualitative change would be achieved only by' Parivartan Bharat' (India Transformation). He called for a radical change in the existing decades-old traditional governance and administrative system and to move forward with the goal of welfare, development and upliftment of all sections.

"It is a remarkable occasion, ex-servicemen are coming forward to establish the 'farmers regime' responding to the 'Ab Ki Baar Kisan Sarkar' call. This is a clear indication of qualitative change in national politics," the Chief Minister said. The BRS Chief explained to the ex-servicemen about the various development and welfare schemes which are being implemented in Telangana.

KCR called upon the ex-servicemen to rededicate themselves and continue to be heroic soldiers to bring a qualitative change in the lives of the people of Maharashtra. Bapurao Pagare, noted ex-serviceman and secretary of the 'Fauji Janta Party' from Nashik district, led the contingent of 20 ex-servicemen to join the BRS.

BRS MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, MLA Balka Suman, former minister Samudrala Venugopalachari, party leaders Shankaranna Dhondge, Kalvakuntla Vamsidhar Rao and others were also present.
