HYDERABAD: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) slammed the BJP party on Saturday for playing petty politics with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's T-shirt.

He told reporters on Saturday that Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra had ignited fear in the BJP. Rahul Gandhi requested that the message be delivered to every household, he said.

Rahul Gandhi embarked on the Bharat Jodo Yatra with zeal on September 7, 2022. He interacted with crores of people while continuing on his Yatra. People of the country were led to believe that the Congress would safeguard the country's integrity during the Yatra.

Regardless of the harsh weather (sun, rain, or cold), Rahul continued his Bharat Jodo Yatra. However, the BJP was still busy levelling petty allegations against Rahul Gandhi. The ideology of the BJP was reflected in their language.

According to Revanth Reddy, Rahul's padayatra was supposed to end on January 26 in Srinagar. However, due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plot, the padayatra would end four days later on January 30, 2023.

Revanth Reddy alleged that on January 26, attempts were made to obstruct Rahul Gandhi's programme for security reasons. They were conspiring to prevent the flag hoisting by Rahul Gandhi in Srinagar, he said.

Therefore, Rahul Gandhi made the decision to hoist the national flag in Srinagar. Rahul would hoist the national flag in Srinagar on January 30, 2023, rather than on January 26, 2023.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra was a resounding success. The goal of the Haat Se Haat Jodo Yatra was to deliver Rahul Gandhi's message to every heart. The Hath Se Haath Jodo Yatra was a continuation of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, said Revanth Reddy.
