Two U turns by Revanth Reddy in less than one week: CM curses, then praises ‘Gujarat Model’?
Revanth Reddu hs penchnt for eatng his on words. In less than a week, the Chief Minister, mde to U turns about his own sttements.
HYDERABAD: In less than one week, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has eaten his own words by making a complete ‘U turn’ from his earlier statements.
Looks like Revanth Reddy has a penchant for flip-flopping his own statements.
The other day, he had to swallow his words of derisive comments he makes about KTR saying he’s management quota in the context of taking the plunge into politics. He had to praise his Cabinet colleague Sridhar Babu’s father the late Sripada Rao.

On another occasion at a public meeting in Chevella five days ago, Revanth Reddy went hammer and tongs against the Gujarat model. Launching a vitriolic attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his much-touted Gujarat model, Revanth Reddy said: “What is Gujarat Model? Is it spoiling the lives of people in villages? Does Gujarat model mean threatening the investors in other states and usurping their investments from those states to your state?
What does Gujarat model mean?.They promised two crore jobs every year for youth. Have they ever given any job to anyone? They did not. They said they would double the farmers’ income. They couldn’t double the income of farmers but they opened fire and killed farmers who were staging a dharna in Delhi.”
But. on Monday, he just made a taciturn and lauded Gujarat Model. Waxing eloquent on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a programme in Adilabad, Revanth Reddy asserted that there would be no confrontation with the Centre.
He described Modi as “bade bhai” (an elder brother) and sought his support to the State Government to “develop Telangana like Gujarat”.
The contrasting views and expressions of the Chief Minister are causing confusion not only among people of Telangana, but even Congress leaders and cadres. Going forward, Congress leaders may exercise caution while endorsing whatever the Chief Minister says.
