HYDERABAD: A new smartphone, 'Nothing Phone (1)', would be launched on July 12 in Indian market. The launch of the new smart phone was announced on June 8. The phone would be available for purchase from July 21. 'Nothing' is a tech-comapny founded by co-founder of 'OnePlus' Carl Pei. The company entered the Indian market in December 2021 with its 'Nothing Ear (1)' wireless earbuds.

The company has tweeted the launch of 'Nothing' has started campaigning the launch event with the tagline "Return to Instinct".

Carl Pei said that this smart would be a "competitive Alternative" to 'Apple' phones. Some also say that this phone would compete with existing Android players like OnePlus, Samsung and Google.

The phone is likely to have 6.55-inch OLED display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution. It would have a triple rear camera with 50 MP primary camera, 8 MP secondary camera and 2 MP tertiary camera. The front camera is expected to be 32 MP.

Tech lovers are also excited for what would be an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 788 G processor. The phone is likely to have Android 12 Operating System (OS) and also include features of the company's 'Nothing OS'.

Another interesting component would be wireless charging and a 4,500 mAh battery. The phone would have an 8 GB RAM with 128 GB as internal storage.

According to online sources, the phone's price may be ranging between Rs.25,000 and Rs. 42,000. However, nothing about the price has been revealed by official sources. The phone's specifications are grabbing the eyes of gadget-freaks everywhere.
