KTR accuses Adani of targeting Singareni, calls KCR the only protector of Telangana
KTR urges people to stand with KCR to safeguard Telangana from "thieves" like Adani, Congress, and BJP.
ADILABAD: BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao accused industrialist Gautam Adani of setting his sights on Singareni and other key industries in Telangana.
Speaking at a public meeting in Adilabad, KTR stated that former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was the only leader who could protect Telangana from being exploited by what he described as "thieves" like Adani, Congress, and BJP.
KTR called on the people of Telangana to rally under KCR’s leadership, reminding them that KCR had led the fight for the state's formation. He urged them to unite and defend Telangana from external forces aiming to exploit its resources.
Referring to the recent developments in Ramannapet, KTR highlighted a public protest against the proposed Adani cement factory. He said thousands of local farmers and residents had participated in a rally, rejecting the pollution-heavy industry. According to him, Adani had also shown interest in acquiring several other industries, including the Cement Corporation of India (CCI) and the Oriental Cement factory in Bellampalli, and he may soon target Singareni as well.
KTR criticised the Congress and BJP, accusing them of being in cahoots with Adani. "Rahul Gandhi calls Modi a thief, Revanth Reddy says Adani is their friend, and yet they continue to work together for their benefit," he remarked, accusing the opposition of colluding with Adani to exploit Telangana's resources. He warned that the state's farmers, youth, women, and elderly would suffer if these forces were allowed to take control.
KTR urged the people of Telangana to stand behind KCR and the BRS party, which he said was the only force capable of protecting the state from being plundered by external players. He reminded the crowd of KCR’s role in achieving Telangana and reiterated that his leadership was essential to the state's future.
