MIM corporators arrested during protest against HYDRAA at Bahadurpura MRO Office

HYDERABAD: Four AIMIM corporators were arrested on Monday during a protest staged against HYDRAA at the Bahadurpura Mandal Revenue Office (MRO).

The corporators were participating in a sit-in demonstration opposing the activities of HYDRAA when Bahadurpura police intervened, detaining the protestors. They raised the slogans 'HYDRAA Hatao, Ghar Bachao' and 'CM Down Down'.

The arrested corporators were shifted to Falaknuma police station following the incident. The protest was aimed at voicing dissatisfaction with the HYDRAA's recent actions, especially the proposed displacement of thousands of residents for the Musi Riverfront project.

This is the first time that the AIMIM leaders have held a protest against HYDRAA.
