"The arrears of fee reimbursement have accumulated due to shifting priorities under various circumstances. IT and Industry Minister D Sridhar Babu has been entrusted with the responsibility of clearing these arrears," Revanth Reddy stated. He emphasised that there was no need to be concerned about releasing funds, as the government would put all efforts into ensuring timely payments.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the historical context of the fee reimbursement program, initially introduced by former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy to provide free education to underprivileged children. He assured that his government had adopted a three-pronged strategy to implement the fee reimbursement effectively.

In his speech, Revanth Reddy underscored the crucial role of engineers in creating significant structures and innovations worldwide. He urged engineering colleges to focus on providing employment and contributing to the nation's future rather than merely generating unemployed graduates. He assured that the state government was ready to extend all possible help to these institutions.

"Engineering colleges should not only create jobs but also intellectuals for the country. Apart from computer science, colleges should promote diverse courses like civil and mechanical engineering," Revanth Reddy added.

He also mentioned the government's skill development program, which includes a Rs 2400 crore project to upgrade government-owned ITIs in collaboration with Tata. Additionally, the government plans to launch a Skill Development University for the youth soon.

Revanth Reddy highlighted the impending dominance of artificial intelligence, following the IT and pharma sectors, and expressed his vision for Telangana to compete globally. He assured that the government would take all necessary decisions to benefit unemployed youth, including conducting examinations as per notifications and releasing a job calendar soon.

"The state government will issue job notifications and fill posts every year, similar to the UPSC. Educational institutions should not become centres of political rehabilitation," Revanth Reddy asserted. He noted that 30,000 jobs had already been filled within 30 days of the government's tenure despite financial constraints and other challenges.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed the state government's commitment to addressing issues and moving forward to improve the state's education and employment sectors.
