2 female students denied entry in JNTU examination centre due to delay
Two female students were not allowed into JNTU examination centre as they happened to be delayed by 10 minutes
KAKINADA: Two female students were not allowed into JNTU examination centre as they happened to be delayed by 10 minutes. The examination was scheduled to begin at 10 am and the students were stopped by the police from entering the examination centre as they reached the place around 10:10 am.
The students who were taken aback by the unexpected move rushed to additional Superintendent of police Srinivas for help. The Addl SP, who had heard the girls plea, however, declined to grant permission citing that they were delayed by 10 minutes.
The students who had come to write the exam from Anakapalle in Janmabhoomi Express, said the train delay was the cause for their coming late. However, they were not allowed to appear for the examination.
