Andhra Pradesh DSC2024 application last date extended up to February 25
Andhra Pradesh High Court reportedly limited the stay given with regard to DSC 2024 only to SGT posts, allowing other process.
AMARAVATHI: The Andhra Pradesh Government on Wednesday extended the last date for the DSC applications by three days until February 25, as candidates are facing problems in paying the fee and submitting the applications due to technical issues.
The Government released a notification on February 12 for the DSC-2024 for the filling up of 6,100 government teacher posts.
The exams will be conducted online from March 15 to 30. These exams will be conducted in two parts a day. The first phase will be from 9.30 am to 12 noon and the second phase, from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the High Court, which stayed the DSC, decided to limit the restriction only to the allowing of candidates with B Ed qualification for SGT posts and the process for the recruitment of the other posts could continue as per schedule.
So far 3,17,950 people have applied for TET and 3,19,176 for DSC.
Edit option in applications
The school education department said that on the request of the candidates, the department was providing an opportunity to correct the mistakes while applying. The government was enabling a facility to edit and resubmit the applications to correct the errors.
