Andhra Pradesh Government shuffles 19 IAS officers
The 19 IAS officers were transferred and allotted postings with immediate effect
AMARAVATI: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government transferred 19 IAS officers on Wednesday. Among those affected were senior officials like Special Chief Secretary Y. Sri Lakshmi from the MA&UD department, Special Chief Secretary Rajat Bhargava from Revenue and Excise, and Principal Secretary Praveen Prakash from the School Education Department.
According to the GO issued by the Andhra Pradesh Government on Wednesday, the 19 IAS officers were transferred and allotted postings with immediate effect.
The list of transferred officers
Y. Srilakshmi, IAS (1988), Special Chief Secretary to the Government, M.A & U.D Department, has been transferred and directed to report to the General Administration Department for further posting.
Rajat Bhargava, IAS (1990), Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Revenue (Excise) Department, has been transferred and directed to report to the General Administration Department for further posting.
The Member of Service has also been relieved from the additional charge of the post of Special Chief Secretary to the Government (T&C), YAT & C Department.
G. Sai Prasad, IAS (1991), Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, is transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Water Resources Department, replacing Sri Shashi Bhushan Kumar, IAS (1996), who has been transferred.
On transfer, Shashi Bhushan Kumar, IAS (1996), is appointed as Principal Secretary to the Government, P.R. R.D & RWS Department.
Budithi Rajsekhar, IAS (1992), who was awaiting posting, is appointed as Special Chief Secretary to the Government (Agriculture, Sericulture, Cooperation & Marketing), Agriculture & Cooperation Department, replacing Sri Gopal Krishna Dwivedi, IAS (1993), who has been transferred.
Anil Kumar Singhal, IAS (1993), Special Chief Secretary to the Governor, is transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary to the Government, M.A & U.D Department.
Upon transfer, Gopal Krishna Dwivedi, IAS (1993), is appointed as Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Labour, Factories, Boilers & Insurance Medical Services Department, replacing Sri M. Hari Jawaharlal, IAS (2005), who has been transferred.
Praveen Prakash, IAS (1994), Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, is transferred and directed to report to the General Administration Department for further posting.
Siddharth Jain, IAS (2001), Commissioner, Survey, Settlement & Land Records, is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Civil Supplies & E.O. Secretary to Government, C.A F & C.S Department, following the retirement of Sri H. Arun Kumar, IAS (2004), on June 30, 2024.
Saurabh Gaur, IAS (2002), Commissioner, Intermediate Education, is transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, relieving Sri Pola Bhaskara, IAS (2005), from full additional charge. The Member of Service is also appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Skills Development Department, relieving Sri S. Suresh Kumar, IAS (2000), from full additional charge.
Kona Sasidhar, IAS (2003), Secretary to Government, ITE & C Department, is transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, School Education Department. The Member of Service is also appointed as Secretary to Government, ITE&C Department and RTGS until further orders.
A. Babu, IAS (2003), Secretary to Government (Cooperation & Marketing), is appointed as Secretary to Government (Horticulture, Aquaculture, Fisheries), Agriculture & Cooperation Department.
Bhaskar Katamneni, IAS (2004), Commissioner, School Infrastructure, is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the M.A & U.D Department for appointment as Commissioner, APCRDA, replacing Sri Vivek Yadav, IAS (2008), who has been transferred.
Pradyumna P.S., IAS (2004), Secretary to Government, T.R & B Department, is transferred and posted as Secretary to the Chief Minister. The Member of Service is relieved from full additional charge of the posts of (i) Principal Secretary to Government (YS&S), YAT & C Department and (ii) Joint Director General, APHRDI.
M. Janaki, IAS (2005), who was awaiting posting, is appointed as Secretary to Government (Expenditure), Finance Department.
M.M. Nayak, IAS (2005), Commissioner, Handlooms & Textiles, is transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development Department.
Pravin Kumar, IAS (2006), Collector & District Magistrate, Tirupati, is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Director, Mines & Geology. The Member of Service is also appointed as Managing Director, A.P. State Mineral Development Corporation, relieving N. Yuvraj, IAS (2005), from full additional charge.
The Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate, Tirupati, is appointed as full additional charge of the post of Collector & District Magistrate, Tirupati, until further orders.
D. Muralidhar Reddy, IAS (2006), V.C & M.D., AP Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC), is transferred and directed to report to the General Administration Department for further posting. The Member of Service is also relieved from full additional charge of the posts of (1) CEO, SERP and (ii) MD, Medical Education and Research Corporation (MERC).
Vadarevu Vinay Chand, IAS (2008), who was awaiting posting, is appointed as Secretary to Government (FP), Finance Department, relieving Sri Saurabh Gaur, IAS (2002), from full additional charge.
