Andhra Pradesh minister Roja Selvamani turns Santa Claus to surprise Vijayawada man

VIJAYAWADA: In a noble gesture, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Roja Selvamani decked up as Santa Claus and surprised Nagaraju, a footwear seller in Vijayawada's Vambay Colony.
Responding to a tweet from a video journalist, Mohanraj Pilla, Roja Selvamani decided to surprise Nagaraju's family on his birthday and offered assistance to his family making birthday celebrations of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Nagaraju, a footwear seller in Vijayawada, was depressed since he was suffering from health issues following his wife's kidney surgery. Roja, dressed as Santa Claus, paid Nagaraju a visit and presented his two daughters chocolates, biscuits, and cake, as well as an offer of Rs. 2 lakh to Nagaraju to start a business.
She promised to provide assistance whenever required and encouraged them to contact her without hesitation even in the future. Roja expressed her desire to assist Nagaraju's family after being inspired by his life story.
She said that her father's name was also Nagaraju and that she wished to support him since she saw a desire in Nagaraju's eyes to provide a better life for his children.
This isn't the first time Roja Selvamani has stepped in to help folks on the occasion of Chief Minister YS Jagan's birthday. She has adopted a village in his constituency and is also funding an MBBS student's studies.
