AP Congress president YS Sharmila owes Rs 100 cr to her brother YS Jagan, his wife YS Bharathi

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president and Kadapa MP candidate YS Sharmila has declared assets worth Rs 182.82 crore in her affidavit submitted ahead of the upcoming elections. The declaration also revealed that Sharmila had taken a loan of Rs 82,58,15,000 from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, and an additional loan of Rs 19,56,682 from Jagan's spouse, YS Bharati Reddy.

In terms of income, Sharmila reported earnings of Rs 97,14,213, while her spouse, Bro Anil Kumar, declared an income of Rs 3,00,261. The movable assets of Sharmila amounted to Rs 123,26,65,163, while her spouse held movable assets valued at Rs 45,19,72,529. Additionally, their immovable assets stood at Rs 9,29,58,180 and Rs 4,05,92,365 respectively.

The total liabilities disclosed by Sharmila amounted to Rs 82,77,71,682, while her spouse had liabilities totaling Rs 35,81,19,299. Notably, Sharmila possessed gold jewellery worth Rs 3,69,36,000 and gemstone jewellery valued at Rs 4,61,90,688. Her husband's jewellery holdings included gold jewellery worth Rs 81,60,000 and gemstones worth Rs 42,60,461.

Regarding education, Sharmila declared that she held a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Anna College for Women and has pursued an MBA from Osmania University. Her profile also revealed the existence of eight pending criminal cases against her, including violations of the Model Code of Conduct.
