AP High Court dismisses Narayana, family members anticipatory bail petition in IRR case

AMARAVATI: In a big shocker to former Municipal Minister P Narayana, the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday dismissed his anticipatory bail in the Amaravati Inner Ring Road (IRR) scam case.
Anticipatory bail petitions of Narayana’s wife P Ramadevi, brother-in-law Sambasiva Rao and ‘benami’ Prameela were also struck down by the High Court.
The AP CID booked a case against Nara Lokesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and P Narayana based on a complaint lodged by the YSRCP Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, in 2022.
The MLA alleged that the accused devised the Master Plan for the proposed Andhra Pradesh capital and the alignment of IRR to accrue benefits to certain persons and companies.
