AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has postponed the hearing on the anticipatory bail petition of IPS officers involved in the case concerning the alleged illegal confinement of Mumbai film actress Kadambari Jethwani.

The hearing has been rescheduled for October 23. The court also extended its interim order preventing the arrest of the officers.

The petition was filed by IPS officers Kanthirana Tata, Vishal Gunni, ACP Hanumanth Rao, and CI Satyanarayana, who are facing allegations in the case. On Tuesday, the case came up for hearing. During the proceedings, Public Prosecutor Lakshminarayana informed the court that the investigation has been transferred to the CID.

The public prosecutor also requested additional time to file a counter, following which the court postponed the hearing to October 23.
