AP High Court to deliver verdict on CID’s plea for additional conditions to Naidu’s bail on November 3
The APCID filed a supplementary petition on Tuesday after the court granted interim bail to Naidu urging the court to restrict Naidu from speaking to media about the skill development case and from organising political rallies
AMARAVATI: A bench hearing the Andhra Pradesh CID’s plea for imposing additional conditions to former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s interim bail for four weeks reserved the verdict and will deliver the judgment on November 3.
The APCID filed a supplementary petition on Tuesday after the court granted interim bail to Naidu urging the court to restrict Naidu from speaking to media about the skill development case and from organising political rallies.
The counsel for CID argued that Naidu violated both the conditions laid down by the court while granting him bail. The APCID produced documentary evidence before the court.
The counsel for Naidu countering the argument pointed out that freedom of speech should not be considered as violation. The counsel argued that people voluntarily ventured on to the highway to have a glimpse of Naidu and respecting the Court order Naidu did not come out of the vehicle from Rajamahendravaram till Undavalli.
The Court while ordering Naidu’s advocates to file a counter reserved the verdict till November3.
