Balakrishna lashes out at Jagan for Naidu's arrest, calls it act of vengeance
Expressing his anger over the latest development, Balakrishna alleged that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had stopped serving people and had only focused on taking revenge against opposition leaders
HYDERABAD: TDP Hindupuram MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has slammed the YSRCP Government for the arrest of Nara Chandrababu Naidu calling it an act of vengeance by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Expressing his anger over the latest development, Balakrishna alleged that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had stopped serving people and had only focused on taking revenge against opposition leaders. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy wanted to see Naidu in jail for at least a few minutes as he was imprisoned in the past and asserted that the latter was arrested on wrong charges.
Stating that there was no truth in the corruption charges of the skill development corporation, the Hindupuram MLA asked the Government on which law Naidu was arrested and clarified that there was no evidence in the case. Balakrishna further recalled that an FIR was registered on 19.12.2021 and no chargesheet was filed until now.
Taking a jibe at YS Jagan, Balakrishna said that the latter received backlash from courts several times, particularly in the skill development scam. He recalled the orders to freeze accounts of Design Tech company were dismissed by the court. Balakrishna further said that the High Court had mentioned that 2.13 lakh students were trained and 72,000 people were given jobs through the corporation. How could this be called a scam, he questioned.
Balakrishna said that Chandrababu Naidu was arrested as a result of political conspiracy and there was nothing to be afraid of such illegal arrests. He said TDP would fight it in court and explain the conspiracy to the public.
