Case against one more fake TTD website, devotees cautioned

TIRUMALA: The IT wing of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has identified one more fake website and, upon its complaint, a case has been registered at Tirumala One Town Police Station. The case was registered under sections 420,468 and 471 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Following the complaint, the AP Forensic Cyber Cell has also plunged into action to investigate the fake website. So far, cases have been registered against 40 fake websites and the new one is listed as 41st under cyber crime.
The fake website was developed by the miscreants almost similar to TTD’s official website with a few minor modifications that cannot be immediately noticed with the naked eye. The address of the Fake Website URL is https://tirupatibalaji-ap-gov.org/

Against this backdrop, the TTD once again appealed and cautioned the devotees not to fall prey to such fake websites. It requested the devotees to make note of the URL address of TTD official website and be cautious while verifying the credentials of the correct website before booking the online tickets. The devotees can also book tickets through the TTD official mobile app, TTDevasthanams.
