AMARAVATI: Former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday in connection with the illegal licensing of liquor companies case.

The Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (CID) has registered a case against Naidu in connection with allegations of illegal licensing of liquor companies in the previous government.

The case against him was registered under the PC Act 1988. CID officials have included Chandrababu as A3 in the case and filed a memo in the ACB special court in Vijayawada on Monday. The ACB court allowed the hearing on this petition.
