AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has ordered a high-level probe into the allegations of laddu adulteration at Tirumala temple.

Chandrababu Naidu held a review meeting with ministers and officials regarding the alleged laddu adulteration at Tirumala temple. He directed the TTD Executive Officer Shyamala Rao to provide a comprehensive report by Friday evening.

The Chief Minister warned of strict action if the sanctity of the Srivari temple or devotees' sentiments were harmed.

Meanwhile, Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda also responded, seeking a detailed report on the issue. Union Food Minister Prahlad Joshi expressed concern, urging the Andhra Pradesh government to conduct a thorough investigation and punish those responsible for the adulteration, calling it a matter that deeply affects the sentiments of devotees.

In a related development, Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje tweeted allegations against former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's government, claiming that efforts were made to remove Srivari photos from Tirumala colleges and install non-Hindu symbols on Saptagiri. Additionally, prominent lawyer Vineet Jindal filed a complaint with the Union Home Ministry, accusing Jagan of undermining Hindu beliefs.
