AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu took charge at block one of the Andhra Pradesh secretariat here on Thursday.

Accompanied by his wife Bhuvaneswari Naidu entered his chambers amidst chants of Veda by pundits. Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar, and Senior TDP leaders Achennanidu and Bonda Uma were also present.

As promised, the Chief Minister signed the first file regarding a mega DSC to recruit 16,347 teacher posts of different categories. The recruitment would be for SGT 6,371 posts, PET 132, school assistants 7,725, TGT 1,781, PGT 286, and principals 52.

Then he signed a file repealing the controversial Land Titling Act, a file regarding the increase of pensions to Rs 4,000, another file regarding the revival of Anna canteens, and a fifth file on conducting skill census in the State for the youth.

Earlier Naidu who arrived at Gannavaram airport from Tirupati, visited Sri Durga temple in Vijayawada along with his family and offered prayers.
