CM Jagan: Skill Development Scam is the biggest in the history of India
When I press a button, money goes directly into the bank account of a beneficiary. But when Chandrababu Naidu presses a button, money goes directly into his own account.
HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday accused the TDP-led Chandrababu Naidu government for the skill development scam and termed it as the biggest scam in the country which looted people to the tune of Rs 370 crore.
Speaking in the State Assembly, Jagan stated, "In the name of providing skills to students, the previous TDP government looted the state extensively. This is not just a big scam in the history of the state but also the biggest in the country. Chandrababu Naidu is a master in scamming people. ₹371 crores were diverted through shell companies and unfortunately students have been the biggest sufferers."
"Nara Chandrababu Naidu is guilty of abusing his power as a chief minister. His cabinet said one thing but in reality did something else. This scam started in AP and spread abroad. The money then came back into the state through shell companies from abroad. Only a criminal like Chandrababu can mastermind this scam," the CM asserted.
Elaborating on the scam, the CM said, "Naidu hatched this scam within two months of coming to power. It was advertised that a private company called Siemens would give a grant of Rs 3,000 crores. Will a private company give such a huge grant? DPRs too were not prepared. But the yellow media did not question this scam. Even the adopted son is silent on the scam. Rob, Share and Eat is their policy."
The CM concluded his speech by saying, "If I press a button, money is deposited directly into the account of a beneficiary. But if Chandrababu Naidu presses a button, money is deposited directly in his own account."
