Drone-shaped aeroplane spotted in Srikakulam, causes flutter

SRIKAKULAM: A drone-shaped aeroplane in the sea caused a stir near Bhavanapadu in Srikakulam district on Thursday.

According to reports, the airplane was discovered when it became entangled in a fisherman's net. The fishermen promptly notified to the coastguard authorities about the aircraft.

Coastguard personnel rushed to the sport and were looking into the drone that looked like an aeroplane. It was also investigated whether it had originated in another country that engaged it, but it was discovered that it was supposedly from India.

It appears that this 111-kg drone was launched on January 28, 2023. When the police initiated a surveillance investigation, they said that it was believed that had fallen into the sea. The police informed the fishermen that there was no reason to be concerned since the drone belonged to India.
