Hearing on Chandrababu Naidu’s anticipatory bail in fibernet scam case on December 12
On Thursday, Justice Aniruddha Bose said the judgment in the quash petition is in the process and posted the matter to December 12.
NEW DELHI: A Supreme Court Bench consisting of Justices Aniruddha Bose and Bela M Trivedi adjourned the proceedings for anticipatory bail filed by former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the fibernet scam case and posted further hearing to December 12.
Earlier, the bench heard arguments on 9, 13,17, and 20 November. On the last date of the hearing, the Court adjourned the plea stating the Court was likely to deliver the judgment in Naidu's quash petition in the skill development case after the Diwali vacation.
On Thursday, Justice Aniruddha Bose said the judgment in the quash petition is in the process and posted the matter to December 12. The counsel for Naidu had been arguing that 17-A of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act applies to Naidu in the multi-crore skill development scam.
