AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday posted the further hearing of the anticipatory bail petition of Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the Angallu criminal conspiracy and attempt to murder case to September 20.
Dammalapati Srinivas, the counsel for Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday urged the court to grant anticipatory bail and assured that his client would abide by the conditions laid down by the court at the time of granting of the bail. The Public Prosecutor for the AP-CID sought time to file a counter, as the hearing on the custody petition in skill development scam case and quash petition were lined up on 18 and 19 September respectively. Following this the Judge posted the hearing on the case to Wednesday.
The Mudivedu police in Annamayya district on August 9, 2023 registered a criminal conspiracy and attempt to murder case against the TDP president and 15 other leaders of the party in connection with the violence reported during Chandrababu Naidu’s roadshow in Angallu. The Mudivedu police registered an FIR against Naidu and others under sections 120b, 147,148,153,307,115,109,323, 506 r/w149 of IPC.
