Indian Railways to introduce new Vande Bharat train between Visakhapatnam-Puri
The Ministry of Railways accorded approval for the introduction of the train which would operate on every day of the week except Saturdays.
NEW DELHI: The Railway Board has announced a new Vande Bharat train connecting Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh with Puri in Odisha.
An official press release here on Saturday said that the Ministry of Railways accorded approval for the introduction of the train which would operate on every day of the week except Saturdays. However, the date of commencement of operations was not yet announced.
The 20841 train from Puri would leave Puri station at 5.15 am to reach Khurda Road by 5.57 am, Brahmapur by 7.40 am, Palasa by 08.48 am, Srikakulam Road by 9.33 am, Vizianagaram, by 10.18 am and would reach Visakhapatnam by 11.30 am.
The 20842 train from Visakhapatnam would leave Visakhapatnam station at 3.40 pm to reach Vizianagaram by 4.30 pm, Srikakulam Road by 5.28 pm, Palasa by 6.20 pm, Brahmapur by 7 pm, Kurda Road by 8.55 pm and would reach Puri by 9.55 pm.
