AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh High Court, dealing with the quash petition filed by TDP leader Nara Lokesh in the Amaravati Inner Ring Road (IRR) alignment scam case, directed him to present himself before the CID in Vijayawada on October 10 for questioning. Lokesh was earlier summoned by the AP CID on October 4.
The High Court directed the CID to question Lokesh from 10 am till 5 pm on October 10 in the presence of a lawyer. Lokesh moved the High Court objecting to the application of certain sections of 41-A, in the IRR case.
Lokesh objected to the section in the summons handed over to him by a three-member team of CID in New Delhi, that binds him to say that he would resist from committing any more offences in the future.
