MANGALAGIRI: Jana Sena leaders, who went to inspect the TIDCO houses being constructed at Jagananna colony in Mangalagiri, received a backlash from the beneficiaries and were blocked from entering the premises on Sunday.
Angry beneficiaries questioned the Jana Sena leaders as to why they were trying to politicise it when the State Government is providing them TIDCO houses with all the facilities.
Calling out the Jana Sena leaders for playing petty politics over the housing scheme, they raised slogans and demanded the activists and leaders of the fledgling party to leave Jagananna Nagar immediately.
Stung by the unexpected turn of events due to the resistance from the beneficiaries, the Jana Sena leaders had to beat a hasty retreat from the colony.
