VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday consoled YSRCP MLA Kolusu Parthasarathy and his family on the demise of the latter’s father and former MP Kolusu Peda Reddaiah Yadav in Vijayawada. YS Jagan visited the residence of Parthasarathy opposite Swarajya Grounds here and paid his last respects at the mortal remains of the late leader.

Parthasarathy, YSRCP legislator from Penamalur, broke down when the Chief Minister consoled him over the death of his father. Peda Reddaiah Yadav breathed his last on Friday at a private hospital in Vijayawada after prolonged illness.


He was a former MP and MLA in the undivided Andhra Pradesh. In 1991, he was elected to the Lok Sabha from Machilipatnam constituency on behalf of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Before that, he was also an MLA of Andhra Pradesh between 1983 and 85.

Condolences have been pouring in for the bereaved family over the departure of the veteran leader.
