HYDERABAD: YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, received a deluge of birthday wishes as he celebrated his 50th birthday on Wednesday.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and opposition leaders, including TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, conveyed birthday greetings to Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and stated, "Best wishes to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri @ysjagan Garu on his birthday. May God grant him a long and healthy life".
Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan also wished Chief Minister Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy a happy birthday on December 21. My heartfelt and warm greetings to Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy on his 50th birthday, he said.
On the occasion of his birthday, a photograph of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy posing for a family portrait with wife YS Bharati Reddy and mother YS Vijayamma went viral on social media.
Several YSRCP leaders throughout the state organised service-oriented programmes to commemorate his birthday. As part of this, the party cadre organised large-scale blood donation camps in the two Telugu states, other states, and abroad in collaboration with the Red Cross organisation.
He was also seen cutting cake along with Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy, Minister Roja Selvamani, and other senior party leaders. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, YSRCP General Secretary, wished Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and cut a cake with senior YSRCP leaders.
