My friend Chandrababu Naidu will come out clean: Rajinikanth

AMARAVATI: Superstar Rajinikanth, who considers former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu as his good friend, condemned his arrest in the AP Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) scam.

Rajinikanth on Tuesday spoke to Chandrababu Naidu’s son and TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh over the phone and extended his solidarity to him. “My friend Chandrababu Naidu will never commit any mistake. The welfare and development done by him will protect him from all crises. False cases and arrests will not tarnish his image. The good work and public service done by Naidu will ensure that he will come out clean,” Rajinikanth reportedly told Lokesh.

Earlier this year, Rajinikanth participated in NTR's birth centenary celebrations in Vijayawada. He heaped praise on Naidu’s vision of developing Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan would meet Chandrababu Naidu through ‘mulaqat’ facility at Rajamahendravaram Central Prison on Thursday. Pawan Kalyan also asserted that he would continue to offer his support to the TDP president in all aspects.
