NANDIGAMA: Suspicions are flying thick and fast over the sudden, mysterious death of a seer of a mutt here on Tuesday even as efforts were made to hurriedly perform his funeral. Shri Ramakrishna Anand, the head of the Ambaripet Bodhananda Peetham in Nandigama mandal of NTR district passed away in the early hours of Tuesday.
However, the swiftness with which the seer's body was shifted to a local hospital and a post-mortem examination conducted raised many an eyebrow and sparked suspicions among his devotees of a foul-play with regard to his death. After reportedly getting the autopsy conducted in double, quick time his body was brought back to the ashram where a section of his close followers began making attempts to shift the body to the graveyard and complete the last rites very quickly. This prompted the family members of the deceased seer to raise suspicions over the nature of his death.
Even the police were reportedly left perplexed, unable to understand why these people were in such a hurry to complete the funeral of the seer so quickly. The grief-stricken villagers and devotees on the other hand were requesting the local people's representatives to intervene and ensure that the seer's body was kept for public darshan to allow his devotees one last glimpse and pay tributes to him.
