KAVALI: On day nine of his ‘Memantha Siddham’ bus yatra, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy criticised TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu for not coming out with a party manifesto.

Addressing a roadside meeting in Kavali on Saturday, YS Jagan said that Naidu could not even fulfill 10 per cent of the promises he made in earlier manifestoes. “The problem is that he has no bond with the people. He has a connection with only Fevicol adhesive, because wherever we ask about manifesto, he seals his mouth with it,” YS Jagan observed.

“I dare you - do you have the guts to show a copy of your manifesto? Do you have the courage to accept that you didn’t fulfill even 10 per cent of your manifesto?” the YSRCP president asked.

YS Jagan said that for the past four months, he had been asking Chandrababu Naidu to list his accomplishments or schemes he implemented while he was Chief Minister for 14 years. “He didn't answer my question, nor did he tell me about any scheme. But at least he should tell the people of the State about it! There's not a single thing for Chandrababu to showcase. Absolutely nothing!” he observed.

The Chief Minister added that the future of the State for the next five years would be decided within five weeks "These elections are not meant to just elect MLAs or MPs but it will be a fight between Chandrababu, a habitual cheater and Jagan, the champion of the poor," he pointed out.

“Are you all Siddham (ready) to support the YSRCP and safeguard the interests of the poor, children, elder sisters, grandparents, minorities, and professional groups? Are you all Siddham to support our government so that we continue the good that has happened?,” YS Jagan asked the crowd.

He added that while Jagan stood for the poor, Chandrababu and the opposition ganged up with his adopted son Pawan Kalyan, yellow media, and the BJP which failed to give special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

“Are you all ready to protect your credibility and support Dharma against fraud and conspiracies in this Kurukshetra battle of 2024,” YS Jagan said.
