Traffic Jam

TDP activists reached Vijayawada in large numbers in the morning to reach the venue of the swearing-in ceremony near Gannavaram. But police did not allow vehicles to enter Vijaywada. Traffic was disrupted on the Chennai-Visakhapatnam, and Hyderabad-Vijayawada highways due to the blockade. On the other hand, there was a huge traffic jam at Kaza toll plaza in Guntur district. The vehicles were stopped at the toll gate. Party leaders from the Rayalaseema region and workers from neighbouring districts faced difficulties in commuting due to traffic jams. With the traffic coming to a grinding halt, VVIPs including Amit Shah’s convoy were stuck in the traffic jam.

LED screens

The Government also arranged LED screens all over the state at all Assembly Constituencies for those who could not reach Vijayawada for the swearing-in ceremony. Large screens were arranged at Tullur in the capital region where Amaravti activists watched the ceremony.
