Narrow escape for Chandrababu Naidu as train passes during Vijayawada inspection
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu narrowly avoided a train incident during his Vijayawada tour.
VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu narrowly escaped a potential accident involving a train on Thursday during an inspection in Vijayawada. The incident occurred while Naidu was visiting flood-affected areas following heavy rains that caused extensive waterlogging across the city.
During his inspection of Madhuranagar, Naidu and his team walked near a railway track to observe a waterlogged stream beneath it. Suddenly, a train approached from the opposite direction, forcing Naidu, his officials, and security personnel to move out of its path quickly. Once the train passed, the team continued their inspection without further incident.
Naidu had been touring the region for five days, assessing the flood damage and assisting those affected by the severe rains.
