AMARAVATI: Janasena President Pawan Kalyan was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Friday. The portfolios of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet were announced on the same day.
In addition to the role of Deputy CM, Pawan Kalyan was allocated the portfolios of Panchayati Raj, Rural Development and Rural Water Supply, Environment, Forest, Science & Technology.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will hold the portfolios of GAD, Law & Order, Public Enterprises, and all other portfolios not allocated to other cabinet ministers. Nara Lokesh is the Minister of Human Resource Development, Information & Technology (IT), and Communications, including RTG.
Anitha Vangalapudi was assigned Home Affairs and Disaster Management, Sathya Kumar Yadav received Health, Family Welfare, and Medical Education, and P Keshav was given Finance, Planning, Commercial Taxes, and the Legislative ministry. P Narayanan was allocated Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD).
Kinjarapu Atchannaidu was assigned Agriculture, Cooperation, Marketing, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy Developments, while M Ram Prasad Reddy received Transport, and Kandula Durgesh was allocated the ministries of Youth and Sports, Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography.
