Sajjala Ramakrishna slams TDP for delaying pension disbursement
Ramakrishna said that TDP president Chandrababu Naidu has provided a glimpse of the chaos that could occur if he were mistakenly voted into power
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna slammed the TDP on Monday for lodging a complaint with the Election Commission (EC) regarding volunteers, which led to a delay in the disbursement of pension money on April 1, 2024.
Ramakrishna said that TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu has provided a glimpse of the chaos that could occur if he were mistakenly voted into power.
He said that citizens for Democracy is Chandrababu's B-Team, widely known for working in his favor with the sole purpose of undermining the volunteer system.
Ramakrishna accused Chandrababu of attempting to dismantle the system through another organisation, in order to shield himself from direct criticism. He highlighted the plight of the elderly, who received pensions from Jagan's administration for the past four and a half years and are now facing difficulties.
"Through this anti-people manoeuvre, has Naidu demonstrated the potential disaster if he were to assume power by chance? Is this his notion of retribution? Is this the behavior expected of a political party?'' Sajjala Ramakrishna questioned.
"Chandrababu revealed his true colors to the public before the elections. Everyone should take note of this, " he added.
