SDRF team rescues auto-rickshaw driver from Krishna river after suicide bid

MANGALGIRI: An auto driver from Mangalagiri attempted suicide by jumping into the Krishna River near Prakasam Barrage due to family disputes.

According to reports, when the SDRF team learned of the incident, they rushed to the scene and rescued him. He was handed over to the Vijayawada City Police for medical treatment and counselling.

The swift action and rescue efforts of the SDRF team members were applauded by Andhra Pradesh DGP K.V. Rajendranath Reddy.
