AMARAVATI: A couple caused commotion outside the camp office of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in Tadepalli when they staged a protest on Friday. They resorted to this move, seeking help to save them from the harassment of their family members.
They even tried to barge inside prompting the security personnel present at the entrance to stop them, leading to a brief altercation.
Going into the details, the married couple are from two different castes. Wife Anusha alleged that they were facing harassment and receiving threats from her husband's family. She said that her husband's relatives were trying to kill them with an eye on the family property and urged them to give them a chance to meet the chief minister.
However, the couple could not be allowed inside for security reasons.
