Senior TDP leader Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy hospitalised upon denial of ticket
Despite contemplating contesting from Pendurthi in the upcoming Assembly elections, Satyanarayana Murthy faced a setback when the ticket was allocated to Ramesh Babu of the JSP.
VISAKHAPATNAM: Senior TDP leader and former Minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy has been admitted to a private hospital in Visakhapatnam due to sudden fluctuations in his sugar levels and blood pressure. The former minister has been confined to his house for the last few days after he was denied a ticket by the TDP owing to alliance with the Jana Sena Party (JSP).
The medical team attending to him announced that his condition was now stable, alleviating worries among his family and supporters. It is expected that he would be discharged from the hospital within the next couple of days.
Despite contemplating contesting from Pendurthi in the upcoming Assembly elections, Satyanarayana Murthy faced a setback when the ticket was allocated to Panchakarla Ramesh Babu as part of the alliance with the JSP. Disheartened by the development, there are speculations that Satyanarayana Murthy would be joining the ruling YSRCP and possibly contest for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Anakapalli.
