Skill scam: ACB Court extends Chandrababu Naidu’s remand till November 1

VIJAYAWADA: The ACB special court on Thursday extended the remand of former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu till November 1 in the skill development scam case.

Naidu was presented before the ACB court in virtual mode from the conference hall of the Rajamahendravaram Central Prison. He was presented before the judge as his judicial remand ended on Thursday. The ACB judge enquired about Naidu’s health before extending the remand. It was reported that Naidu expressed apprehension about the security provided for him in the jail.

The judge directed the jail authorities to submit timely reports about the health condition of the former CM to which they replied that a medical team was overseeing the health condition of the accused.
