Skill scam:Hearing on Undavalli's PIL for handing over case to CBI on December 13

AMARAVATI: A Division Bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, comprising Justices U. Durga Prasad Rao and A.V. Ravindra Babu adjourned the hearing on the PIL filed by former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar urging the Court to hand over the investigation of skill development scam case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) till December 13.
The Bench on October 13, 2023, ordered that notices be served to 44 respondents, including former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and TDP State president K. Atchannaidu.
However, the counsel for the petitioner on Wednesday told the bench that the respondents didn't receive the notices. The High Court Registrar said that 39 respondents had already received the notices. The Bench directed the Registrar to repost the notices with new addresses.
Meanwhile, the hearing on the assigned lands scam case was posted by the AP High Court to December 11. Former Minister P Narayana and co-accused Anjani Kumar sought quashing of the petition. The Court, while allowing the interim bail order to continue, posted the hearing to a later date.
On the other hand, the hearing on the anticipatory bail filed by former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the Inner Ring Road (IRR) case was posted to December 1.
