AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has expressed shock over the fire mishap at Tadepalligudem and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each to the family of the deceased.
He instructed the officials to provide best of treatment for those injured in the explosion that occurred at a firecracker unit.
At least three persons were killed and a few others were injured in the explosion that occurred at the firecrackers manufacturing unit in Tadepalligudem of West Godavari district on Thursday night. According to reports, the incident happened at around 8:20 pm. The police were in the process of ascertaining as to how the fire-crackers caught fire which led to the huge explosion inside the unit.
Reports claimed earlier that there were at least 10 persons inside the unit at the time of the explosion.
