Notably, former Minister and firebrand TDP leader Devineni Umamaheswara Rao failed to find a place in the third list. The Mylavaram Assembly seat was given to sitting MLA Vasantha Venkata Krishna Prasad, who shifted loyalties from the YSRCP recently.
Devineni Uma had been a trusted loyalist of Chandrababu Naidu for many years. Even after the defeat in the 2019 elections, Devineni Uma had been with Chandrababu Naidu on every occasion.
